Edit: It's very possible to do this without having to drop all the way to the bottom again after placing the blue portal. I played around in Three Gels today and discovered that it's possible to make it to the top platform with a clever fling. Being that this is a new discovery, there may be more optimizations that this brings about. As of this run (which is a bit sloppy in parts) I hit the trigger for the white gel about 4 seconds faster than jyjey's WR run. There are a couple caveats to this trick though, it seems like you need to turn off portal funneling (sv_player_funnel_into_portals 0) in order to get the last fling. This isn't too much of a problem though because it's not considered a cheat. The other being crouching during the fling. It might be possible without a crouch, but it seems easier to me.
